A Question for the Senators from Maine

Dear Senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins: What the hell do you have in common with Jim DeMint and Tom Colburn? Are you the party of the 'big tent' or is your party in such desperate circimstances that you have to pull together otherwise you'll sink to the bottom of the sea?

Maine, about as far north as one can go in these states, and South Carolina, the heart of the Confederacy. Judas Priest!

Like, I'm scratching my head to see the connection. Oh, both have coasts on the Atlantic Ocean. Oh, and both have two Republican senators in Congress.
