Voice of America reports: Gaza Palestinians Continue to Cross Into Egypt for Fourth Day. Thousands of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip are crossing into Egypt for a fourth day since militants destroyed a border barricade Wednesday. For the first time, hundreds of vehicles crossed into Egypt Saturday, after a group of militants used a bulldozer to open a new section of the barrier.
Free at last! Having been closed-off at the north by the Israeli Army, the Palestinians can at last freely move into Egypt to visit relatives and buy products that the Israelis forbid them to have. What joy these beleaguered people have found.
They must feel like the southern blacks in 1865 and again in 1963 when they were recognized [legally] as fully-human beings. The Gazans have suffered immensely by the controlling Israelis just as the blacks suffered under the slave masters and the southern sheriffs.
Congratulations to the Egyptians for their magnanimity.
