"Wars and more wars, my friends." John McCain with a little straight talk in Florida a few days ago. He told the folks to expect even more wars and so they voted for him. Romney talked about the economy, but apparently McCain's warmongering trumped the naive Floridians. They never have been too bright come election time.
Dumbed-down and fearful folks seemingly are willing to hand their souls to the fear-mongers carte blanche, no questions asked. Odd stuff.
With McCain in the driver's seat of the GOP, the question to be answered this November is this: Can American voters be scared for a 3rd straight time into voting for fear and war? The choice will be clear between the Dems and the Republicans.
Fear or hope? War or financial responsibility? Stinginess or common good?
